The privacy policy of Rockwell Sheet Sales Ltd or its parent (Rockwell Sheet Sales Holdings Ltd) concerns the privacy of customers who use the rockwellbuildingplastics.co.uk, rockwoodwpc.co.uk, dynotile.co.uk and rockwellsheet.com websites and/or have dealings with Rockwell Sheet Sales Ltd in general.

All users are free to explore most of our website content without providing any personal information to Rockwell. 


Information collected and how it is used

e-commerce websites:

If placing orders through our e-commerce websites, customers will be required to provide certain information to enable their orders to be processed.  Information is collected during website checkout and includes;

• Name and/or company name
• Contact information including email address/ telephone number
• Postal address and any separate delivery addresses

Credit or debit card details are not stored by Rockwell websites and are only entered for processing when prompted by our secure payment gateway Sage Pay.
Guest users; When proceeding through the checkout as a guest user, the above information is used solely for processing the order.  All information relating to the order will be deleted from the website after processing.
Registered users; Registering as a customer during checkout provides the user with access to order history and all address/contact details provided at registration. During registration users will also be given the opportunity to confirm their acceptance to marketing/contact preferences as follows;

• Email
• Newsletter
• Telephone
• Mail

Users can change marketing/contact preferences at any time by logging into their user account.

The user account is password protected and only accessible by the user. All information relating to registered user order history etc. will remain stored on the website for the user to view/use until the user decides to delete their account.

Newsletter sign up.
When checking out of our ecommerce website, all users (guests and registered) are given the opportunity to sign up to our Newsletter. If selected, we will automatically send an email to the user with a link to confirm they have opted in. Once confirmed we will store the email address the user provides for the purpose of periodically sending information/offers relating to our products. Website users can also choose to accept our newsletter by entering their email address within the newsletter sign up areas without proceeding through checkout and registration.
If the user changes their mind in the future and would like to be removed from our data lists, they will have the opportunity to unsubscribe on every newsletter. We will only keep user details for as long as they allow us to.

Account applications.
Businesses can apply for credit facilities by completing an online application form – this will require the disclosure of additional information such as bank account, sort code, and if applicable, vat and company registration number. Information on this form will be shared with our factoring company (RBS), who will make the final decision on whether a credit account is offered and its limit.
This form is emailed directly to our accounts department for processing and not stored on the website.

To facilitate our newsletter sign up & distribution, user email addresses may be held on a list hosted by another company - Rockwell Sheet Sales Ltd does not disclose, share, sell or trade any personal or individual information that it collects to third parties other than in the course of completing a transaction or service that the user has requested or in response to an investigation involving legal matters.

GENERAL CUSTOMERS

When a customer makes a purchase (direct, through our website or ebay shop) or enquires directly with Rockwell we may keep information relevant to any purchase or specific enquiry on electronic servers, or in locked files. This information will be stored for only as long as is legally required, or for the period of any applicable product warranty. After such time, files will be deleted or destroyed.
