Commercial Lining Products
Rockwell offers white flat or corrugated sheets as well as a
range of cladding profiles.
PVC is a smooth white, class 1 (surface spread of
flame) fire rated material, for the hygienic lining of all areas.
It is an excellent material for cladding walls and ceilings where
cleanliness and hygiene are vital or where a durable waterproof
barrier is required. The sheets, which are typically between 1mm
and 3mm thick, are tough, chemical resistant and can be easily
cleaned by hosing or wiping.
Available in flat and corrugated form, PVC sheet can be fixed with
stainless steel fixings, glass filled nylon rivets or suitable
adhesives. A range of vertical joining trims, corners and skirting
profiles are produced in white PVC which when used in combination
with food grade silicones enable areas to be completely
hygienically sealed. As well as white, pastel shades of flat
PVC and polypropylene sheet can be supplied. Stock sizes of flat
sheets are 8' x 4' or 10' x 4' with other thicknesses and
sizes available in certain grades.
Tongue and groove hollow section PVC profiles are also available
for more decorative lining projects. These are produced in
lightweight planks making them a quick and simple to install
solution which can be fitted directly to the ceiling or wall
substrate or like corrugated sheets mounted on to suitable
battening.
Polypropylene is an alternative robust flat sheet material
for use in areas where a fire rating is not required e.g.
agricultural applications such as milking parlours, poultry farms,
kennels and catteries etc. Fixed in exactly the same manner as flat
PVC, polypropylene sheets are hygienic, durable and highly
resistant to chemicals as well as being rot proof, non-toxic and
chew resistant. In addition the sheets are steam cleanable, non
absorbent and maintenance free requiring no painting over
time.
White 43" (1095mm) wide corrugated
PVC sheets are stocked in 8', 10' & 12' lengths.
These general lining sheets combine recycled and virgin PVC
material to offer a durable, economic and lightweight alternative
to steel cladding which will not rust. It is suited for
waterproofing applications on basements, railway arches and
underground car parks or for use within agricultural or industrial
buildings.
